                                            FAREWELL
                                                                        April 18,  2008

    As many of you know, B3 Network has been striving to bring business people together in Hutto for
    almost three years.  Effective this date, B3 Network will no longer be conducting meetings.

    B3’s goals were always to develop lasting business relationships and to bring business education to our
    members and guests. Initially, B3 meetings consisted of 12 to 24 members and visitors.  Breakfast
    meetings were opportunities to learn about each other’s businesses and to spotlight one or two of our
    members.  For our lunch meetings we brought in coaches and facilitators.

    During that time, we brought in business facilitators such as the Small Business Development
    Corporation (SBDC,) BIGAustin, and SCORE.  We benefited from the lessons and wisdom of business
    coaches like Gregg Riley, Terry Hill, Scott Carley, Barbara Metzger of Maximize, Jeff Cockrell of Dale
    Carnegie Training and author of The Ripple Effect, Steve Harper.  We sponsored charity fundraisers
    with Diva Night benefiting Relay for Life and the Hutto Education Foundation.

    During this time, there have been some great moments and wonderful times of sharing with B3
    Network.  As a business owner, B3 Network has never been my primary activity.  In order to keep up
    with the business needs of Quality Monogramming, Etc., I will be putting aside B3 Network.  I hope that
    everyone that has developed a relationship through B3 will continue to foster those relationships --
    professionally, personally, or both.

    It has been a great few years. I wish to thank the Hutto Chamber for their support, especially former
    President Elizabeth Page, who quickly offered the use of the Chamber meeting room for our venue.  I
    also wish to thank all of you that welcomed us into your lives and embraced what we were trying to
    accomplish.  Thank you very much for those of you who participated on our board of directors.  You
    were a blessing to us.

    I would like to leave you with a thought.  Today's students are tomorrow's business owners.  With that
    in mind, I encourage you to become a Partner In Education through the Hutto Education Foundation.
